Villain is an aggro TAG reg running 17/15/5.3 (AF) over 1.3k hands. He enjoys barrelling the shit out of boards with his semi nit range and raises c bets 20% so far. I don't like having to b/c this flop too much at all oop and think there's more value in c/c multiple streets here. His flop betting range is gonna be lol wide and he may even be mindlessly aggro enough to jus start blasting stuff with sd value.

River isn't the best card but he's going to blast this with like all of his air imo.

Recent history: he 3 bets me MP vs BU, I 4 bet, he folds. I 3 bet him BU vs MP and check down a AAx board with K high and lose to his 66.

This std?

Questions you should ask yourself are what's his checkback range like? What hands is flatting with pre here? This should help you come to a better answer yourself.

Also something to note if you can is if he likes to barrel boards as bluffs when the draw actually comes in or if checks back when the draw actually comes in or if he barrels when the draw misses or like to just give up. Also will help you come to a conclusion yourself.

Something really weird I noticed w/ his sizing is that he types his flop bet, turn bet then doesn't type or at least doesn't use .xx on the river. If the flush actually got there this is a really good read to have.

All that said I'd probably just c/f the turn versus someone this nitty since your not going to be doing too well v TPTK/flush draws/sets/overpairs.

This seems ok to me, river is close but it's perceived by both of you as a good card for his range and bad for yours. If you have a very high c-bet %, c/calling stuff like top pair every once in a while is good not only to induce a bluff like in this hand but also to get people to give you free cards when you give up with your air every once in a while.
Family Cruise IMO

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

@Nuts: His fold to 3 bet is 82%. I figure when he flats here oop his range is likely mostly stuff like [AJs AQ TT-QQ] or something similar so my FE is pretty minimal unless I wanna fire three and I wasn't sure I wanted to do this esp if he's gona call me down with TT JJ etc sometimes given I think he sees me as an aggro reg.

That was my thinknig, please lemme know if that's dumb

I assume this is the same you were talking about in IRC the other day. I think it looks good. River sizing sure is setting off my spidey sense though.

just bet/decide flop here, turning TP into a bluffcatcher sucks against a TAG with a strong range + position. id try to keep my range continuous in order to lower his implied odds and keep my options open, usually id c/f the nut bottom of my range though and occasionally id trap with the very top of my range like JJJ.

as played id fold turn or call down, but its a bad spot unless his bluffing freq is outrageous and he doesnt thin vbet but i think that is unlikely
