Can I fold here?
Is it just me or does his line just not make sense?

Poker Room skin
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
4 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $118.10
Button: $171.10
SB: $122.40
BB: $94.70

Pre-flop: (4 players) Hero is UTG with A 7
Hero raises to $4, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 9 6 7 ($9.5, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: A ($9.5, 2 players)
Hero bets $6, Button raises to $17, Hero calls.

River: J ($43.5, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $28, Hero calls.

what doesn't make sense about his line?
sets, overpairs, Ax all can do that.

anyways, no i don't think you should fold here. i C/C the turn btw.

I just couldn't see him checking behind on the flop with a set/straight with the flush draw out there.
And if he's drawing to a flush, I would expect him to semi-bluff this flop nearly everytime.

As for the turn, how often does Ax (with the x not being a 6,7, or 9) raise this?

i think it's wrong to assume opponents would play the hand like how you would play it.

maybe he had Ah8c

edit: that's a pretty dumb comment. wow i suck at poker.

His line makes a whole lot of sense. These guys call with anything suited and will check/call down until they hit their hand lots.
