I never donk flops. Like never. My standard play for flatting preflop OOP is to check bomb 4x/lead turn with bluffs, draws, sets, toppairs. So my newb question of the week, what is your thought process for leading postflop into the preflop raiser?

At the least I lead hands where I think opponent might check behind hands that they'd call a bet with, especially on drawy or multi-way flops.

you can donk flops with hands you can't really continue with
say BTN opens you call KQ from SB, flop is 842, he's going to miss a ton BUT he'll prob cbet often and you have to fold, but if you donk you can often take it down. do it with overs like this, but do it with strong draws and sets or other huge hands as well!
another way you can do it instead of donking is going for the check-raise. Low drawy boards for instance are great to do this. same situation lets say BTN opens you flat ATo from SB, flop 752ss and he likes to cbet a lot, you throw in a nice CR there, but do it with Ax spades, sets, etc as well.

I lead if the villain is weak post flop in the situation bjsaust mentioned. I also lead if there is a fish is caught between myself and the PFR. And I lead a couple times early on just just to help myself figure people out.

I love to lead in 3 way flops, when I am in middle position and its checked to me and I got no part of the flop. Leading good draws is also cool, because it is easier to stack someone when we get there.
Leading weak with decent hands is a disaster and villains very often fold when repopped. But if I got some good equity and villain c-bets often I usually much prefer a c/r.

A standard situation for a lead is when you called from the blinds and villain raised on the button
this is because our range from the blinds is stronger than villain's raising range if he opens really wide OTB
jman does this a lot in HU where people open like 80%+ of their buttons
but he has to do it a lot with strong hands where he might prefer to c/r in isolation to make his leading range strong and not exploitable to bluff raises

if we check-call 762 rainbow with hands like 88 or 99 then we shouldnt lead them with KQ etc..
