Maybe because I am playing so much break-even poker, I am not afraid of just wanting to see the hand. When He r/r on flop, I am sure he had pair Ks or As, but curiosity kills the cat. Easy read, easy fold. Why did I do it?

If you have a read, trust it. Don't get into the habit of "keeping people honest", because it gets really expensive in the long run. If you are sure he's got an overpair bigger than yours, why put any more in the pot?

I am posting this because I have discipline issues, I never trust my read when I am ahead in my bankroll and just gamble it away. The date of this post is June 4th at night. In a month's time I am determined to erase my discipline problem, and take poker seriously. My word is my bond.

you think this is a cooler issue ez? i mean this is the driest flop ever. if your read is that this guy is a total nit, then this is really bad.

"im sure he has KK/AA here" isnt a read, its a guess based off bad thinking. do you have stats on this guy? unless youve never seen him raise a hand before, then 3bet and get it in on that flop.
