ride is your average TA (13/7/2 - 130 hands) with nothing out of line, basically bets when he has something and folds when he doesn't

bon3 is a loose player (85/0/2 - 69 hands) who is willing to take shots at a pot and is very capable of having a 9 or a spade draw in his hand

Hand #1559011707000860: Pebble Beach (6-Max) 11707
Seat 1: ecru*** (45.95 in chips)
Seat 2: BRIT*** (11.00 in chips)
Seat 3: ride*** (57.25 in chips)
Seat 8: b0n3*** (69.15 in chips)
Seat 9: NotT*** (49.45 in chips)
Seat 10: frosst (70.90 in chips)
BRIT***: posts small blind $0.25
ride***: posts big blind $0.50
Dealt to frosst [ K, K]
b0n3***: calls $0.50
NotT***: folds
frosst: raises $2.00 to $2.50
ecru***: folds
BRIT***: folds
ride***: calls $2.00
b0n3***: calls $2.00
@@@ F_L_O_P @@@ [ 8 99 ]
ride***: bets $7.75

Sigh. That situation sucks. I'd usually figure ride for a pocket pair lower than kings (TT or JJ maybe) and probably not on a 9, though it's not impossible. But a guy like that is not usually calling a raise out of position preflop with any hand that has a 9 in it, unless there are two of them. I doubt he'd play 88 so aggressively. Basically his donk bet makes his hand pretty transparent to me. bon3 could have a lot though - two spades, a straight draw, or a combination thereof; he could also have an 8, a 9, some pocket pair, though his aggression factor isn't off the charts which probably rules out some of the worse hands. His minraise is worrisome - some donks only do that when they have the trips ("pay me off!") and others do it when they have a good draw, because they're donks.

Given all the money already in the pot, I'd probably push here with a normal stack. But the other worry is that you and bon3 are both deep. Would it be too ridiculous to flat and see what peels on the turn, and how our donk follows up his minraise?

I think we have ride's range crushed. He's representing mostly pairs here, with also maybe a NFD. We can flat but if we're calling another bet/shove then we might as well get it in here. I'm more inclined to fold as we're not beating very much if the action continues.
My sig is too much for you to handle.

let's say we call and a spade falls. if he leads with a small value bet, what's our line?

if he leads with a push?

if a blank falls (non-spade) and he leads with a small value bet?

if he leads with a push?

Deanglow is on a distinguished road
the donkbetter has nothing and we are far ahead of the minraiser's range. This is a shove.

You are surely ahead but their are some big draws out there. Prob JTs and the NFD. I'd flat it and shove if turn is blank.
Never bet on a white man in the heavyweight division!
