Hey guys,

Here's a hand I had yesterday. I'd appreciate any feedback.

I played a lot of hands with UTG+1 so far. He's definitely donkish running at 65/21/1.5. But he's overall passive, and has been a call centre on my left to mostly ALL of my PF raises and ALL of my cont bets on the flop. He's almost never raised me, and often folds to my second barrels on the turn.

No real reads on BB, he's running at 22/10/1.4 over only 100 hands. His call on the turn, more than anything, was what worried me.

Is this an easy/standard turn fold?

Cryptologic
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $240.09
UTG+1: $50.40
CO: $55.09
Button: $36.50
SB: $31.04
BB: $119

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with
Hero raises to $4, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: ($12.5, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8.75, UTG+1 calls, BB calls.

Turn: ($38.75, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 is all-in $37.65, BB calls, Hero ??

Yes extremely easy fold on the turn, you are dead in the water. The BB isnt calling this without flush/straight/set, with you to act behind.

I'd also assume that the UTG+1, even though a donk, has you beat also

Muck and be glad UTG+1 woke up when he did, he saved your stack. (Hopefully you folded)

Thx for the replies guys.

By the lack of response, I'm guessing this is pretty damn standard?

The reason I posted was because my fold was purely based on the fact that BB called ahead of me, and I figured he was often ahead of my range.

It turns out that BB actually had 79, with the 9 of spades in this hand. (waaaay weaker than I woulda figured).

If BB folds, is this still a fold for hero, or should we consider a call given that UTG+1 is a donk (mind you a passive one in general)

With only UTG in the hand I would probably lead the turn and get it all in.

I want to call.

It looks like you dont have anything (AK/AQ ish)

And it looks like he doesnt want a call [edit: or rather doesnt feel strong enough to see a turn].

I dont give someone " donkish " seeing 65% of flops credit for levelling me so I call.

I also would rather bet out (or maybe even think/push turn)
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

You're getting a good price to call here, I'm more worried about BB's call here than anything. However, if anyone had anything real strong (other than the nut flush) they'd be trying to fold you out with a push.

I like a bet here on the turn and hope UTG raises BB out and you can call.
