Opposition is 44/6/1 over 400 hands. He is not a winning player but he is not an aggressive player either. His donkbet had me worried. Usually I raise this flop but the board looked too scary. What is my correct line here?

If you haven't seen any aggression from someone I think this is a good safe line if you want to get to showdown. I never know what to make of weak bets from players on this site.

Here I am in the same spot as you. Not as dangerous as a board but I hadn't seen this guy lead or make a single big bet since I sat down. TBH he was so weak/passive I kinda regret not folding the turn, but that woulda been too gay.

You played this fine. Raising the flop is the only thing you could do differently but calling is ok too. If you raise tho ur probably only getting action from hands that already have you beat or big draws.
