this is only a 3-bet pot fwiw. and against a 59 vpip donk i c-bet the flop always. if villain plays back i try to get to showdown but probly end up folding.

I think Im cbetting here the majority of the time against an opponent like this unless I have more hands that basically says they never fold to a cbet. Agaisnt a better opponent, I think that we again should be betting simply because c/c the flop is going to be incredibly transparent. Against a more passive opponent [over a larger sample] who isnt folding much to cbets but also isnt betting often, I think a check is best.

I think i would probably cbet/fold and hope for a cheap showdown. If he shows any major resistance i proceed with megacaution and folllld to any raises/big bets

why are we putting someone this loose on an A? hes 59/22 for god's sake. he's raising crap a lot of the time. he calls a 3bet with a good bit of crap, too, imo.

i bet pretty big here (7ish+), but i dont want a lot of resistance, either. i'm trying to bust him off his pp or gutshot or flush draw. if he calls, i get wary, but he will fold as often, imo.

but maybe its just me. i've been on one hellacious run betting KK on A high flops lately.

c/f, what does he ever bet that we are ahead of? He's checking down all the hands we beat anyways.
Check out the new blog!!!

you dont think that a "relatively" aggro player, AT 25NL can bluff pp's here with regularity? or flush draws? imo, its more a factor of...if we dont take a shot here, he will.

just asking, as this is something i feel is happening a lot when i dont fire at this pot.

just a note:

59vpip/22/2 over 27 hands - and u call him loose and donk ? think twice before u make conclusions over 27 hands my vpip can be 59 easily and i can only be playing very best hands.... also his pf agression is just okay. if i see him show down q6s then u can conclude etc.

anyway i almost always c-bet that ace there...if called i put him on draw or ace andtry to check it down or maybe call some weakness... but am pretty much done.

Check/folding is way too weak. Bet the flop and shut down if called.
