villan has been wreckless, dont have numbers but he's been playing very loose. he's 3 bet alot of my raises and called a fair amount. if i lead he usually folds quick, if i check he usually bets. whats the right play here after he c/r's the flop. after calling the flop and he insta pushes the turn .. i took time and felt any K, Q, 8 or diamond wins the pot for me...

you need 19 outs to justify calling here, you only have 18 outs IF all your outs are good
but all your outs are partial

here let me pokerstove it:
Board: Jd 7d Tc Ac

Hand 0: 71.374% { JJ-TT, 77, AKs, AdQd, AJs, AdTd, Ad9d, KQs, Kc9c, JTs, 98s, AKo, AJo, KQo, JTo, 98o }
Hand 1: 28.626% { Kd9d }

you have 28% equity, you need 40% to call

but say he goes completely insane with a weird hand like

Board: Jd 7d Tc Ac

Hand 0: 68.939% { QTs, QTo }
Hand 1: 31.061% { Kd9d }

you still can't call despite his hand being shit

Cbet flop bigger. If he still c/r's it I'm shoving it in against this villain.
As played fold turn.

Wow, if you're going to call a 2xpsb on the turn unimproved then definately shove flop.
Just playing to improve.

obviously shove flop, but the turn decision is so much worse than flatting flop

He ended up having 10s7s and I ended up catching up on the river which spiked an 8c to give me a straight .. so you believe me shoving the flop all in will get him to fold? i dont believe with his wreckless play to begin with i get him to fold. in calling the turn i believe i pick up 4 more outs which is why i called his all in bet on turn .. i guess shoving the flop leaves the tough decision to him which i think he calls regardless even with a weak J imo.

dude Geno you have the nuts on the flop. Bet flop much harder and get it in while you still have the nuts.

shoving is def for value and b/3bet on the flop is by far the best play. based on your recent posts geno you have some serious leaks and they will get catch up with you at nl100.

I must be missing something very obvious here...but what 4 outs did you pick up?

I don't think he realized that he had a double gutter on the flop, so he thinks the ace brought him a gutshot draw.

dont get me wrong, you may be very capable of beating nl100, but based on the 2 HH's i've seen you post in the last week or so it just seems you are missing some basic concepts.

ill be honest i havent really played alot of cash games online anyway (especially 6max) .. mostly sngs and tournies but i've been playing for about 2 weeks now, started at 50NL now moved up to 100NL, im up +1000 .. am i capable at consistently beating it? idk. do i have flaws? yes, thats why im posting and learning different situations but 100NL has alot of fish to begin with and its not very hard to beat imo
