Hi im a relative holdem noob who has only just started to take the game seriously. Ive been getting as much info off these forums as possible and recently purchased super system which is helping me understand how a 'player' should be thinking. Anyways heres my first hand, is this a bad beat or should i play this differently next time? Also could someone please give me the hot tip on converting the histories so they are easier to follow? thanks so much all!

Button ($7.10)
SB ($10.05)
Hero ($3.85)
UTG ($10.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, K.
UTG calls $0.10, MP calls $0.10, 2 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.40) 9, K, 8 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.3, UTG raises to $0.6, MP raises to $0.9, SB folds, Hero raises to $3.75 (All-In), UTG calls $3.15, MP calls $2.85.

Turn: ($11.65) T (3 players, 1 all-in)
UTG checks, MP bets $0.75 (All-In), UTG calls $0.75.

River: ($13.15) Q (3 players, 2 all-in)

Final Pot: $13.15

speedcake.......... FullTilt does not have a 5NL, the lowest ring game they have is 10NL.

Sl4y3r........Suckouts happen in all games at all levels, unfortunately it seems it happens more at lower stakes, all this means is that you have bad players getting thier money in behind more often...........as Fnord points out, play more with these players.
