You guys still have a few days to grind, but I'm done for the month, taking a breather and coming back next month.

I played a nit HU at a 6m table because he was not that good, so ship the red line:

some of it heads up, most 6m
total for RB should probably be close to $250 if you include the fact that I cleared part of a bonus on stars

I'm done for the month, gotta prep for my euro trip, leaving weds and it's gonna be sick.

This month has been really frustrating, started off well again but ran into some gay variance in my last 15k which has obv led to some spewage on my part, still my best month ever so I can't complain. Nearly all 2/4, maybe 5k hands of 1/2.

+ $1,025 in rb = $14,700.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

Lowest hand volume in months, but that's ok, was in Vegas for 9 days.

Vegas: + 1.6k in cash
- $550 venetian tourney
- $1.5k in WSOP event

pretty much broke even but I'm happy with that considering I was like -$5k in vegas and played 7000 hands online.

Lowest vol month uhmm, ever. I played a lot live.

So... a small loss on cake and a bit of RB = $648.29 online, a couple more if you count the mid year iron man bonus.

Live... house games, bar games, a partners LHE and O8/b tourney, 1/2 at the woods and the sun = $4976

Fuck it! We'll do it live!

Ewww dev. You should have stopped June a couple hours earlier .

Irisheyes, you think you just ran into big hands alot last 15k hands or did you change your game (or did people adjust to you)?
Just playing to improve.

Mine:

Crappy start, bunch of 50nl on Party in the middle, then back on track at 100nl at the end. Even though I played like double the hands for half the profit of last month, this makes the 3rd month running I've earnt +$1k so I'm really really happy. 200nl soon!
Just playing to improve.

I think I actually ran red-line good in the first half of the graph and red-line bad in the second half. My red line usually sinks anyway. The red-line bad bit was really bad though, it just felt like every hand the most passive guy on each table would minraise me on the turn and I'd have to fold or the guy's with the 5% 3bet stat would take turns to 3bet me every second hand. I don't think it was them adjusting or anything (I've played over 300k hands at this site) it was just running bad.

Stopped playing about 10 days ago... only played a session today.
It started with -10BI in all-in EV in 5k hands, and then tilt, no heater to pull me out, loosing confidence, dropping down...

April sucked, May was massive heaterments, June sucked even more than April, so July will be 5 figs imo.

Worst month of poker ever, down about $1500 overall, without bonuses probably 2k. Only $600 under EV so I can't even use that to make myself feel better.

FT full ring
-$685 at the tables, B/E after rakeback etc. But i now know how to play a little looser.

Party 6-max
was doing great in the 25nl-100nl trip until i tried 12-tabling 100nl when tired.
+550 at the tables, + $400 in promos, accrued about $300 in bonus points if i want to cash them in now (but i don't)

overall ran and played kinda bad.

so about $1k up for the month. Yuck.

I did my best to ruin the month by moving back to $100NL and proceeded to drop 8BI's in a runbad, tilt inducing, what the fuck why me not again session. Lost the whole months work and got it back in two sessions.

Well, it certainly can be done, but it's not something you do with the expectation that its an optimal strategy for moving up.

Last 100Kish hands, over the past 2 months 12-16 tabling at 7bb/100, plus 2.2K RB:

I'm gonna be building my roll up after pulling out almost all of that, and then once the roll is up to around 6K again I'll try permanently moving up to 1/2 and start out 6 tabling it (which seems like a snails pace compared to what I currently do). Hopefully I can adjust and eventually 9 table. But I don't think I would do higher than 9 tables unless I was at 100NL or below, or if I was Nanonoko

This month:

Almost all 100NL 6m, a few times I played 1/2 and 2/4 because I saw huge fish. 6bb/100, seems good for how many tables I play but i tilted at the end of the month a few days and really should have done at least 1.5K more

These are my best consistent winrates over big samples, now I just need to figure out how to actually move up.

Red line, blue line are both negative. Red line was positive for a while and blue line was negative. Then they crossed at $0 and red line was massively negative at the end and blue line was slightly negative.

Yeah I play 6m on stars I was playing 12 tables and tilting like a monkey so you probably don't have a very high opinion of my play superman. What's your name?

I've cut down to 6 tables and am up $400 today (this month) and feel like I'm playing much better.

I didnt do too bad. Deposited 600 on Full Tilt on 6/9/09. Currently at 2256.90.
8.75 bb/100 at nl 25 for 13581 hands
3.47 bb/100 at nl 25 for 22528 hands
2.21 bb/100 at nl 100 for 6317 hands

Im hoping to see my bb/100 get up to closer to 5-6 bb/100 once i get in a groove. If everything goes according to plan I can start touching nl 400 within the next couple months. The good thing is that I am playing purely for fun, I feel no pressure whatso ever. My first session at nl 100 I dropped 4 buy ins like water, but I didnt really spazz. I guess not having to depend on cashouts makes all the difference. Yay to being 26 lolz

yeah in my own experience I found it easier to 3b like 6% and squeek under the radar (not get 4b that much, not have to 5b bluff people back) than 3b like 9% and have to shove it in against people who play back at me and pray they don't have the top of their range

I've kind of noticed this in reverse on Party lately. A LOT of the regs have 3bet % of around 5%, and its just hard to play back against that range since it isnt overwhelmed by bluffs like 8%+ ranges are.
Just playing to improve.

but then again they don't bother you as much
The statistics in HEM show that people with over 7% 3b are the biggest winners

Agree, you shouldn't worry about people with 5% 3bets. The have their range weighted towards valuehands enough that you shouldn't play back light against them.

There are two kinds of 5% 3betters. Some 3bet the same range, some 3bet 8-9% OOP vs stealers. I play them different.
