Villain is a regular at 400NL, reasonably aggressive. No notes/stats since i've only seen him playing at other tables. He probably percieves me as being a straightforward player as i haven't run any bluffs past the flop since he sat down.

I don't know whether to b/f or c/c the turn, as it is BvB and his bluffing frequency is likely higher than normal. He may also raise a turn lead as my range would be weighted more towards hands like A-J.

Great river card, but i don't know whether to lead the river or check/raise.

Well...

This is an easy check if he'll lay down a K every time to any substantial bet. But, if you play with this guy a lot, and want to bluff this type of situation in the future... you should shove. If he's too abc and not smart, i'd bet 120.

Thanks for the feedback

One aspect i still struggle with a lot is considering my hand as a range when i am in the middle of a hand. Playing less tables is helping me work on that though for sure.

I would usually have bet a flush draw versus another regular in villain's position, since i would want to try and represent a King. But i suppose if i know my opponent with A-x isn't going to fold because there is a flush draw on the board, i would check behind.

Which makes me think of another question: if i can't be sure how my opponent is thinking about the hand, should i

1). default to a lower level (psychology wise)? The lowest level i think i'd assume my opponent (non fish) was thinking on would be "what does he have?".
2). default to the play that has the lowest variance? Basically finding a lot more folds in small/medium pots in spots like i'm in on the turn (this seems like the best option to me).

I can try later to come up with some examples of when these questions are different, but i can't think of any right now.

hmm i guess i would fire the turn and river with a flush draw some of the time if i knew a little more about my opponent and he didn't think i was super aggressive/bluffy. The problem here is probably that he is an unknown so i shouldn't assume he is doing what i would do, but then again i am an unknown to him so wouldn't he give me more inclined to bluff me since he knows i don't know who he is? Lowest level or lowest variance? Here i guess they are the same. /run on thought
