will641 is on a distinguished road
villain here is 16/4/1. i have a sneaking suspicion that he is slow playing a bigger pair then mine, even AA. this is a pretty clear fold right? and is there any other line to take here?

i think against players like this it's way better to bet/fold like $45 on the river.

If you're really thinking he's slowplaying a big pair then you gotta call since the only one he's betting the river is AA, and that ain't likely. Also people like bluffing aces. Granted he's not gonna do it that often. I like Massimo's line.

See he really could have something like 67 and really be thinking that if he bets you're gonna fold a bigger pair. I just don't like this.

I prefer Massimo's line. This guy doesn't have balls to raise bluff, but he might have balls to bet bluff so now you might have to call. But you are missing value by not blocking that river.
The secret to success in poker is to rig the odds in your favor.
