I got away with this one, but I think I played it badly with regards to bet sizing. UTG+1 had only just joined the table with $2, and Button was 70/21/1.1 over 70 hands. I had recently had a run of cards and kept hitting flops, etc., so I think Button thought I was pushing him around with my constant raising and re-raising.
How is the best way to play this hand? I think maybe I should have bet a bit more on the flop, and definitely more on the turn. Is the river shove a bad move? I just felt I got lucky with this hand.
Hold'em No Limit ($0.05/$0.10)
Hero ($18.08)
UTG+1 ($1.60)
CO ($2.45)
Button ($16.06)
SB ($9.81)
BB ($19.80)
Preflop: Hero is UTG with J , J .
Hero raises to $0.40, UTG+1 raises to $0.80, 1 fold, Button calls $0.80, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.40
Flop: ($2.55) 4 , 2 , 6 (3 players)
Hero bets $2, UTG+1 calls $0.80 (All-In), Button calls $2
Turn: ($7.35) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $4.5, Button calls $4.5
River: ($16.35) K (3 players)
Hero bets $10.78 (All-In), Button folds

4bet to put UTG+1 AI. other than that its perfectly fine. your default against these types should be to bet/bet/bet in this situation. you could have maybe bet slightly more on the turn, but you played it fine imo.

Standard - and I don't mind the preflop call. But with this line, you don't have much room to cbet. You're counting on having an overpair to be able to bet. Bode's line gives you several ways to win the hand.
