so, what is there to say here, it's a spot I haven't really been in.

Britney: 20/16/4.0 with 3bet 5.4%, on 583 hands 4bet was 13%

so seeing that this person has 4bet only twice in these 583 hands, and doesn't seem to be too spewy, I think his range here is QQ/KK/AA/AK

standard fold in this case? or how much of a difference do you think it makes that I'm doing this in position and it's a bit of a squeeze?

perhaps flatting is best pre if I dont' think i can stand a 4bet from villain..

$1/$2 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG Britney SpearsU ($200.00)
CO rshipman2169 ($97.40)
BTN Hero ($200.00)
SB ssantoss ($54.50)
BB Mpc67 ($205.70)

Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is BTN
Britney SpearsU raises to $7, rshipman2169 calls $7, Hero raises to $28, 2 folds, Britney SpearsU raises to $70

Final Pot: $108

what's his fold to 3bet? if it's less than 60%, i say it's a mandatory 3bet for value ... if you happen to get 4bet, that's ok, u just ran into one of the few times he'll have a stronger hand.

if he folds to 3bets much more often, might be better to just flat. generally when im thinking about flatting w/ a big pair preflop, the reason usually has something to do with the 1st raiser being particularly nitty, and basically folding to my 3bet just sososo often. or we are in positions like, opener is UTG and im BB... that's a spot i don't want to be 3betting, it just looks too strong. if he is just too nitty, would 3bet him as a bluff w/ any 2 suited, any 2 semi connected, and i'd flat my big ones to try to extract more value.

it also depends on how many times you've 3bet this player in the recent past, if he is getting fed up with you, you are 3betting this in order to get it in, if he has no reason to be fed up with you, it's more of a reason to consider flatting since you should expect to get respect on your 3bet.

It's close villian might think u are squeezing and be 4 betting light, but doesn' look like the type that would do it. You can be flipping with ak ut i think most of the time u are dominated so i would fold.
