Villain is unknown, I have less than 20 hands on him, so no stats. Standard river fold? Line-check?

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Holdem Ring game - Blinds: $2/$4 - 6 players - Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $96.50
Hero: $962.80
CO: $752
Button: $382
SB: $400
BB: $386

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with J J
UTG folds, Hero raises to $14, CO folds, Button calls, 2 folds.

Flop: 3 7 K ($34, 2 players)
Hero bets $28, Button calls.

Turn: 2 ($90, 2 players)
Hero bets $64, Button calls.

River: J ($218, 2 players)
Hero bets $130, Button raises all-in $276, Hero folds.

I like a c/c on the river unless its a massive overbet. He doesn't always have a flush here.

How does villain play AKh here, I think that is the hand to think about. I could really see it being played exactly like this.

Not really sure what else plays out like this either, 77? We assume AA and KK do more preflop, QQ can't cold call like that, AKo probably at least reraises somewhere. Unless he is horrible, AKh and 77 are the two hands I see most often on that river. Maybe AQh.

I guess I would like to know more of your thoughts, because depending on how often you decided he had AKh, AQh, 77, you might call this on pot odds, you might not .

The more I think about it, the more I think of it, considering your big stack, the more I think he was trying to be trappy. The hand you beat, 77, reraises you somewhere, to make sure you aren't drawing out on him. I really really think he plays 77 faster against your stack given the hearts and your action. Hell, he plays baby set faster too. I really think it was a good river fold given how it was played.

Not really sure I like the c/c idea. I mean, if you can define his hand after his second street of not reraising so that it really only makes sense for him to be on AKh, and maybe AQh, can we just c/f? And if you can't rule out under sets, I think it is well played.

I don't get your turn bet.
As played yeah fold river, but really good players may turn a lot of their range into bluffs. I don't expect to see that at 2/4. I may bet more like 160 so he thinks there's no way you fold to a shove.
This could easily be KJ, but meh i think fd way more likely especially because he had 1 out.
Check out the new blog!!!

Turn was to charge draws and fold K's with weak kickers. I datamine a lot, so anyone I have less than twenty hands on is probably brand new to 2/4 and I don't give them much credit. River bet was too big I think, should have been $100 probably.

All the people saying c/c. Do you think he turns Kx into a bluff here? I would have thought hed check a K behind and anything else he bets with will beat us (except an underset i guess).

I quite like b/f here and Im not sure about c/f but I cant see how c/c works on this board.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

can we really fold here getting 4:1 vs an unknown? it seems right, but surely a flush isnt over 80% of his range, is it?
