Villain is 60/21/1.14 over 90 hands. Calls everything preflop but not too crazy post-flop. Definately haven't seen him get his whole stack in yet. I've been aggressive in position against him and am starting to get the feeling he's a little irritated. He's starting to call a little lighter etc. He hasn't 3-bet me preflop yet but this might be the first time he's had a chance as well with me being on his direct left.

Is this a hero call or super standard call?

Texas Hold'em $1-$2 NL (real money), hand #P4-58509719-708
Table Elsinore, 16 Jan 2008 10:58 PM ET

Seat 10: cakr010097 ($207.15 in chips)

Pre-Flop

Flop [board cards 6,2,6 ]
Pliiseraise checks, Galapogos bets $15, DonateMePLZ folds, Pliiseraise bets $45, Galapogos calls $30.

Turn [board cards 6,2,6,9 ]
Pliiseraise bets $105.45 and is all-in, Galapogos

Opp bet 6 plus his blind = 7 - 4pfr from hero = 3 to call.

looks like QQ-AA given flop action. im not calling flop unless im happy about it and stack off on turn
Jman: every time the action is to you, it's an opportunity for you to make the perfect play.

I just really found this line so bluffy. Yeah he's a donk so of course he's not going to make smart bet sizes. The reason I decided to call is it was weird for him to give up once the flop comes after he has 3-bet preflop. Then suddenly he's interested again once the other guy folds and the flop is HU between him and myself. That's the main reason I decided this was more likely a bluff than a bad line with a good hand.

Does that sound like good reasning or was I just talking myself into having an excuse to call?

pretty standard flop fold against a passive donk. I also like the idea of a 4bet (if you can really call it that) pre since he only minraised.

This is where you made your excuse to call. I just don't think it's a good one. You're giving him too much credit for good adjustment, without actually seeing any evidence of it, and then getting into a bad spot with a bad assumption based on adjustments he isn't making.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
