I probably call the river at >3:1. He could have A8 or 77-TT.
Not sure I like the check/raise on the turn... .not sure I DISLIKE it either... just not sure.
Probably just lead the turn for $3, and decide if I want to continue if he shows any serious agression.

I feel like being out of position, he could have just as easily had A8. But then again he could have easily had AK or 88.
I check-raised because I thought he might have just had KK88-A or something. But his constant aggression had me pretty convinced I was beat.
If I just called the turn, what was my course of action for the river? Maybe leading out for 1/2 the pot?
Edit:* Now that I think about it, his river bet of 1/3 the pot seems kind of weak to be holding a K or 88, unless he was trying to induce a raise?

Flop was nice, but check/call turn and river here.

yah that sounds like a better course of action then check-raising the turn and having to face a larger then necessary call on the river, when i very well may have the best hand, but since out of position puts me in a tough spot.
good to know.

Yeah, I think you are happy to win a small pot here... so check/calling g00t, raising bad.

Turn cr sucks. Realize that by cr'ing the turn you are essentially bluffing, but no better hands will fold. Also, consider checking this flop.

My standard play lately is too c/c flop; value bet turn/river.
