Villain is a complete unknown. Thoughts on the turn line and wtf do we do on the river? Like the pot is so big but we beat like nothing =/

played fine, rivers an ez fold.
edit: Im also unsure whether your turn raise is big enough taking the board texture into account and the fact his range is almost all draws/pair draw combos.

Im confused as to why you think this river is a call? The range of hands villain calls the turn with is nearly all draws, of which only hearts missed on the river, plus hes never shoving worse for value. Its possible hes shoving missed hearts but I strongly feel were beat here over 90 percent of the time.

I would fold the river. It's obvious at this point he's holding a 4 flush. I like your line on the hand very much and this hand is simply a bad beat, he outdrew on top set, whatever he's holding.

I would just try to call. His bet on the turn gave me the thought that he might have 4 hearts, and just was hoping for the last one to come on the river and he just wanted some money on the table.. my oppinion is that you should call that hand

tough decision would have pusheed on the turn in order to never arrive at this point couldn've pushed him out but on the river its tough call due to all the possibliblties

I think you have to push that turn...there are so many drawing hands available and at the moment the only hand that beats u is (4,5)...if u push u most likely have all ur money in with the best hand and even if by the small % chance he has 4,5 u have outs going to the river

Urgh I hate these, they are so player dependent.
I mean some players will shove 2pair, a lower set, a missed heart draw, though against the dire field of 50nl players this hand looks like a straight or a backdoor flush draw that hit and the normal mentality of fishy players is that if you re-raised the turn your not folding the river so I think they are begging for a call and don't wanna miss out on value if you check the river back.

I'm for calling as well.
My thoughts...
How often is someone with two diamonds even going to make it to the turn? It was raised preflop and flop. I could understand KQd or maybe T9d or 98d sticking around. I don't think AKd or AQd is here, they should be strong enough to 3bet preflop.
I believe aggression has shown that you do not have a drawing hand like the straight or flush, so he shouldn't be too be worried about that. So if he had 77, 33, or 65h here, it would be good for him since we might call down with maybe what he believes is TP.
65h might be here because it would have some great draws to make a turn bet.
So in short...
Win against 77, 33, 65h
Lose against KQd, T9d, 98d, 54h
We're 63% to win if I'm right, and gives a little room for miscalculation.
Perhaps I'm trying to get too specific...But I'd grab my stressball and make a call.

I like how you played this hand. Given pot odds, I call this river. This can easily be his last ditch effort to try and get you off a better hand, on what turned out to be a scary board where you rarely have 4x.
