Due to the advice from FTR, I decided to dabble in ring games, low limit, short handed.

Was this played wrong or was his call wrong on the turn?

You played it fine, it's a bad beat...reload.

Are you mad at the way he played it?

Not really, more so of trying to understand WHY he played it that way? I don't think I would of made the call there with just two pair, with the obvious straight draw on the board, and especially if someone pushed all in once the queen dropped on the turn. To me that's screaming "Hey I just made the straight", which is why I pushed.

lol and what was the other guy calling with! lol geez

He called figuring he could fill up or hopefully split if an Ace falls - still wrong. I'm sure there will be tons of loose calls at that limit....there are at most limits shorthanded.

At $10nl a lot of players see 2 pair as the nuts. Interesting minbet leadout by villian on the flop.

Yeah I was worried about the over cards to my pair hence why I didn't reraise, but hindsight I should of raised the flop to get a clear picture of where I was in this hand.

You should raise min bets on general principle, unless you have a nut-like draw. Which you would have except for the 2 hearts on the bo-rad.

FYP. Why wouldnt you want to get some FE especially when villain shows nothing but weakness? I raise the minbettors every time unless they are really sneaky.. which guys at these stakes are not.
