ive 3bet the CO 3 times in SB vs BTN spots so obv a 3bet is cool here BUT ive a massive passive fish in BB. im torn between which option preflop. Co runs 20/18. Flop cud well be a fold but is there value on riv? oh and also critic flop.

CO shipthewhip ($107.18)
BTN Hero ($182.45)
SB IGotThem ($100.18)
BB FRAIRE11 ($86.33)

Pre-flop: ($1.50, 6 players) Hero is BTN J J
2 folds, shipthewhip raises to $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, 1 fold, FRAIRE11 calls $2.50

Flop: K 8 2 ($11, 3 players)
FRAIRE11 checks, shipthewhip bets $7.50, Hero calls $7.50, FRAIRE11 folds

Turn: 6 ($26, 2 players)
shipthewhip checks, Hero checks

River: 3 ($26, 2 players)
shipthewhip checks, Hero ($171.45)?

I think there is a lot of merit in keeping his range wide and picking off a c-bet.

If I raise here, then it's because I think he opens from the CO too much and I'm putting stuff like AQ/TT in my 3-bet range.

Yeah, I think there's merit in both and I would like to see his CO steal numbers but the fact that he's 3bet him a few times already and the bb is a fish make me want to 3bet/shove here.

This is a very standard 3bet pre for value. And what the others said...

yeah i do agree with you guys on preflop, iso ship vs CO>calling to let fish in.

Also the guy never called a 3bet from me so he steals alot of junk/marginals.

If we fire turn are you guys firing river?
