I'm having another shot at 100nl. Villain is a good 22/20/4 type player. I've been stealing his blinds a fair bit from the button, not much from the SB. He's 3-bet me once before and I folded. I still have a lot of problems with bet sizing here. I don't think I'm ahead ever here, coin flip at best. I'm running 19/16 ish and there is no real reason for Villain to think I'm 4-betting light. Comments please.

Your massive 4-bet makes no sense at all, but as played snapcall because you pot committed yourself when you raised to $48.

Wow, that 4-bet is a monster. But once you 4-bet this hand you're going to have to get it in. If you're afraid his calling/shoving range is that far ahead of you, you should call his 3-bet and play a flop.

Yep, I made a kind of text book chess playing mistake. I thought about flat calling and 3-betting smaller, ran into time trouble, then chose something completely different at the last moment. I thought he was re-stealing, now I seem to have turned my hand into a bluff.

4betting to like $35 here is plenty if you want to fold to a shove (only since youre a little deeper), but this 4bet size insta commits you.

If it's correct to 4-bet-fold JJ against this guy BvB, for only 120 BB, then I want to play against him really badly. I can't remember the last time I played against anyone like that.

your 4bet sizing is fine IMO. however, what others have recommended is also fine as it gives you more room to maneuver, but just remember when you 4bet half your stack, the odds you're getting to call are too ridiculously good to ever fold. this is why i like to do this w/ bluffs and such, forces villain into a really tough decision knowing u arent folding.
