when you c/call a pot bet that tells me you don't have any flush, even the nut flush. And I feel like his insta-action induces people to fire at him. I think ilikeaces86 used to talk about doing everything really quickly because it makes people attack you lightly.

Precisely.

I feel like you don't have enough information about this villain to bust out a timing tell. The only reason ilikeaces did it with real hands is because his opponents were presumably aware of the insta-bet bluff which is common enough. So how do we know this is an ilikeaces-'esque' faux-bluff instead of a (probably more common) insta-bet bluff?

c/c c/f turn seems like a reasonable line.
It seems like villain really wants to get all the money in here.

just fold the turn.
also if u want to make this bluff you need to make it with a hand that has better equity vs. his calling range.

it rings true with personal experience. I feel like insta action induces me to step out of line frequently. Bolstered with this idea that a smart, profitable, tight player used these quick actions to induce unwarranted action (could be a figment of my imagination though) leads me to believe that snap decisions with bets try to induce action from seemingly thinking players.

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Nah, I didn´t tilt or anything.
I just imagined that his nut hands would at least take a second to figure out how to extract the max and his okay hands would take some time on turn considering pot controlling/taking a free card, whereas the lower end of his range wants to appear strong and to be protected vs a diamond. It looked so much like auto b/f. He did play his strong hands not in this manner before.
I´m putting too much emphasis on timing and betsizing when I´m playing without hud it seems.
