Villan is 16.4/10 over about 100 hands. He's demonstrated that he knows my VPiP by staying out of pots that I'm in. (I'd been running like 14.2/10 over about 100 hands also)

This hand came up, so I figgured I'd take a shot against a thinking player.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Hero ($18)
SB ($19.10)
BB ($9.10)
UTG ($3.50)
MP ($6.60)
CO ($10.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
2 folds, CO raises to $0.35, Hero raises to $1.2, 2 folds, CO calls $0.85.

Flop: ($2.55) , , (2 players)
CO bets $1.8, Hero raises to $4.1, CO folds.

Final Pot: $6.15

To be honest, His range here is AKs which he doesn't fold, KK, QQ... maybe TT, AKo and AQo. I honestly feel like I pushed him off QQ. The moment he bet, I tanked, and thought about it, and decided that since my range was smaller than his, if he's using HUD I gain some fold equity.

He even said. "14.2 vpip, I believe you" and folded.

ISF? Come on! props? Anyone?
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

 not a lot of 10nlers are ever finding a fold with qq here. looks like you just pushed him off a slightly lower pair.

also, if you consider this a "bluff", you really need to open up your game so that you can get more good hands paid.

that said, your thoughts show that you are thinking about hands creatively and that is one big step to being able to beat bigger games.
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Against his range it's not much of a bluff, but in this pot in this situation, do you really feel like you're ahead?

oh and Range Check.

I open raise with PP's up to 10's I open and 3bet with paint pairs. I like to call raises for set value from anywhere with stack-odds.

I don't put stuff like KJ and QJ in the same level as AK and AQ and AJ. In fact I consider them trap hands and try to get away from them unless I'm doing the raising from late position.

I don't like to be the one raising with Suited Connectors, I'd rather be calling a raise. That being said, I will raise SC's from CO/BU

I avoid being out of position with any drawy hands unless I feel like I have a real edge. Stuff like T9s from the SB is so hard to fold, but unless the guy is spewing chips, or a nit I just muck it and move on.

I was just being nitty because I literally recieved 93 off 10 hands in a row... it was gettin' creepy.

 Playing nit/tagg is probably the ideal style to beat micro stakes with. Since all you need to do is play abc poker and everybody will simply give you their money. When you start to do fancy plays in spots where you tell yourself he can't call here is when you substantially lower your winrate.
