Villain is Bagataway - we have no history. He's a winning 1/2 SH and HU reg fwiw.
My feeling up to that point was that he was the nitregish bumhunting sort of type. hasn't once 3-bet HU or 3-handed and gave up to steals a whole lot.

On the one hand it's a really weired line for him to take for value. But then I just don't see what he peels the flop with that he is now bluffing... and if he's capable of turning 99-JJ into a bluff. He is 4 tabling and constantly table selecting. He left the table when the fish left, even though he had the best of me most of the time.

I feel like most half decent 1/2 regs are just calling K/A high flushes and boats on the turn? Seems like this is JJ+ with a diamond or semibluffs enough of the time for you to shove, but it's not a fistpump.
Family Cruise IMO

snap. he's going to want to get more money in on the flop with a set, but with an overpair he should want to see a turn first since you have so many 1 diamond hands in your range.

I don't like it. There is a huge part of his range you have beat. JJ-AA with a diamond or even without the diamond. Ad2x Ad8x. Retarded spews BVB you have to get this in.

What they said. This is not a card he's likely to give you credit on and he has a lot of pair +diamonds or even bare diamonds.

for one, you shouldn't be betting made hands on this turn without planning to call a shove.

I hated everything about this hand. Just making sure.
Should have checked if I was ever folding to a shove, but b/c seems like a better plan. Did not know that villain was a reg - much less midstakes and winning when I played it fwiw.

I think this is more a call, than a fold. Villain can have a weaker flush too.

You absolutely should bet this turn. I very much expect opp to 3bet the flop with flushes and sets. When we c/r the flop we have a pretty good 3 barrel bluffing opportunity. Therefore, we should be betting the turn with our made hands.
