Villan is 77/11 over 100 hands. These flop bets just drive me insane, I guess I can call but If I Do hit my Ace or my King I have no clue what to do. I just figure with him having such a wide range that he really could have flopped better than me and woudnt fold to even a shove. My reason for the large raise preflop is becuase I was getting sick and tired of his preflop min raises, So I raised to the standard amount. I just feel like I really screwed up this hand. What should I be doing different here?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)

Hero ($28.20)
SB ($40.20)
BB ($42.10)
UTG ($25.15)
MP ($58.75)
CO ($31.65)

Preflop: Hero is Button with , .
2 folds, CO raises to $0.5, Hero raises to $3, 2 folds, CO calls $2.50.

Flop: ($6.35) , , (2 players)
CO bets $0.5, Hero folds but has no clue why.

Final Pot: $6.35

I've found guys like this who bet really small on the flop are bluffing 90% of the time. He knows there's a high chance you will c-bet and deems this to be an effective counter-strategy. Raise - you have position, you took initiative pre-flop and even if you get called, you have 2 overcards which will probably be good if they hit. I mean come on, with stats of 77/11 he obviously is a keen angler. Don't take any shit from guys like this, be the aggressor. If he calls, re-think things on the turn, if he 3 bets you, fold and pick a better spot to beat him into submission. Selah.

this is a bluff almost always. raise this to $4 or $4.50 and shut down if he 3bets or calls and you dont catch an A or K on the turn.

nutsinho will become famous soon enough
standard is to pretend he didnt bet and just make your normal cbet, perhaps a tiny bit larger
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

Head nod.

Also, why on earth are you ever folding that hand on this flop when you're getting 12.5 to 1? You have overcards and backdoor draws to the nut straight and flush, and you are playing against a donk who probably has nothing... that is AT LEAST a call. An insta-no-thought-no-question-about-it call. And that's only if you're not going to raise, which you really should, 'cause this dipshit has nada.

I really feel like everytime I post a hand that I just suck at poker I guess part of my problem is being results oriented and feeling like they always have AT or some crap like that. Because of multitabling I think I forget how often I CBET and how aggressive I am. A couple questions:

What my play if he bets pot?
If I raise to $4 on flop and strike an Ace or King on turn am I betting 3/4-Full pot?
Do Things change for me at all if a broadway card that I didnt hit falls and he still bets his same weak amount?

These are probably dumb questions but Ive been playing around 2k hands a day and I tend to be stacking donkeys like this often because I have trouble putting them on hands. I probably play better against players that are 12/10-30/15 then I do these calling stations. Im going to assume that the play you guys mention here should work for most stations like this guy.

What Warpe said.

Folding here is really terrible. Raising depends on how often he does this. He likely is tipping off that he caught a little of that flop. Isn't it nice of him to do that and help build a pot a little?

you have to raise here, and you often times aren't even 'bluffing'

we can never reward villain risking 1/12th of the pot. It is TERRIBLE for your images and your raises lose respect. You're not just losing this pot, your image at this table is not good and you should find a new table... i.e. that you can be bluffed, and that you are very nitty.
