Post subject: I spew in the worst ways..

ok, I feel like I spew in the absolute worst ways. Maybe Im just not confident, but instead of really aggressive spewing, I find myself passively spewing, which of course gets very few show downs. Heres an example.
dealt to hero  
utg calls .50, utg+1 raises to $1, 1fold, hero raises to $4.5
flop:   
hero bets $7, utg+1 calls
turn: 
hero c/c $5.5
river: 
hero c/f to $13

call riv, you have what 3 to 1? This isn't always a Q.
I play the rest the same, but id love to hear about a better line.

So are you saying you should be the turn again or call the river?
- betting turn good
- calling river bad

Nothing glaringly wrong with this hand imo.
Sometimes I check flop if opponent sux and won't put pressure on me without a big hand.
Sometimes bet/fold turn.
Sometimes bluff push river (after taking the line you took).
But I don't think your line is terrible.

when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

idk.. I just feel like Im losing 20-30bb and never seeing showdowns. Maybe Im looking in the wrong places for leaks?
