HU SnG with no blind increases.
My opponent is tight, passive and straight forward. I'm pretty much chipping away at him and he really hasn't decided to play a big pot with me yet.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t10 (2 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Fnord (t2325)
BB (t1675)
Preflop: Fnord is Button with Q , Q .
Fnord raises to t20, BB calls t10.
Flop: (t40) J , 8 , 3 (2 players)
BB bets t30, Fnord raises to t120, BB calls t90.
Turn: (t280) 7 (2 players)
BB checks, Fnord bets 200, BB raies to 660, Fnord cries and shoves the rest in...
How did I do?

Looks like you got the crying part right!
I don't see the value in the turn bet against this type of player? Everything got there! As played, gotta shuv; And cry. Spike a diamond on the river please?

The fact that everything got there makes this an excellent card for us to double barrel which means that more one-pair hands will be calling. The more we bluff, the thinner we can vbet. Also, we have a lot of equity in this spot with the Qd so betting is standard I think.
I also suck HU, but I think you can fold the turn since you don't have that much invested, there is a small but not insignificant chance that you are drawing dead and you are crushed by his range. It doesn't look like you have much FE at all.
Pinch of salt required though.

Well if he's that passive/straight forward than what are we beating on the turn? AJ? Is he donk betting draws?
I think you can fold the turn here w/your read.

Why is this bad?
We never ever check behind this turn Chris.
Go with reads, b/f, b/s, b/c all decent options. The most compelling reason to b/f is that you probably have a huge edge here and you will take the match down 85% of the time, which is way better than your equity in this pot.

Some history.
When I started playing live at 4/8 one of the regulars in the big game (12/24, this was in Washington a few years ago) sat in for a bit. He jammed a weak hand hand at me, sucked out and when I looked at him he said "sorry, I play bad." I've since stolen this line to disarm table coaches. Sometimes I add, "I play bad, take my money"
I sucked out on his J8 and it was a "sorry, I play bad" moment.

i don't love the min raise pre with the stack sizes. Your 150 BB deep. I play HU cash not SnGs so maybe this is standard I don't know.
As played I would bet/fold this turn with your read.

I don't think he has to bet the turn. I would sometimes, I wouldn't sometimes. I don't mind the turn bet, but you have to fold to the raise.

Think the opposite. I'd like to hear reasoning on a smaller turn bet .

its probably really not that important or a big deal if we bet like $160-185 here. when opp isnt creative enough to c/r us with a hand we beat and we are in a b/f spot we dont need to bet SO much. we can still get some chips on river if its a blank, its not like we are happy to shove blank rivers in big pot since he calling shove range we beat will be tiny.
