Hand #1 Villain is 23/17 reg haven't really seen him get out of line but he is very aggressive post flop and likes to pick off c bets.

In hand one you don't really need to give the guy a range because unless he's bluffing (what, <5% of the time) you are behind his ENTIRE range on the river.

The second one is trickier. The flop check raise is a move laggs often use (to pick off weaktight c-bettors) but you've described him as a straight tagg, which means that he's likely to have a good hand (AQ, 66, two pair) or a good draw (JT, A9s) or a combination of the two. The push here screams "fold equity", as does the flop check raise, so I think he's got a combo draw a lot of the time. But I suspect he has QJ type hands often enough to take away your pot odds here. He has a stone cold bluff pretty much never.

Cause it was a min raise so it wasn't a high price to call to see a river and to let him know I had a decent hand in case he was trying to take it away from me. (He tried to pick off cbets almost everytime from everyone at the table.)

reasonable call or I should have folded on the turn?

Looking back at both these hands and reflecting on my session tonight has made me realize that this is one of my big leaks. Calling reraises with medium strength hands on the flop or turn against regs is a mistake. Especially at my level when it's not a villain running 45/20. This stems from my maniac days where I was severely infected with the he must be bluffing syndrome (which I still have outbreaks of). You are going to face another bet 9/10 times and calling with no plan is never a good idea. These little raises that I call because I'm not sure does affect my win rate big time in the long run and it's a bad habit to get rid of for sure.
