I've never folded a set on a non-scary board like this before but this just "felt right." He checks the flop and reraises the turn? WTF else can he have other than JJJ or 888?

I guess the reason the previous hand was an "insta-fold" for me is because I had just played a hand a few minutes earlier in almost the same fashion. Look at this hand, it really sucks because it should be obvious to the other guy what I had (he put me on a heart draw, lol).

I would think that most decent players wouldn't slowplay a set on a draw heavy board like that. I would not worry about a higher set with 1 buyin on the table and I would three bet the turn and hope to get it all in.

Not everybody is smart like us. I asked him about twenty hands later and he said he flopped an 888 set. I told him I turned 333 and he told me "there's no way you folded that, bullshit."

But I did.
