Vi-Zer0Skill is on a distinguished road
Hand 1: Betting sucks since you are building a big pot OOP vs. two opponents without a strong hand. So i check, with the intention of folding to any bet.

Hand 2: Since you didn't get raised on the turn i doubt villain is holding 9-x. Villain has either a full house or a busted flush draw, and given the fact that this river is a good card to bluff i would call anything but an overbet on this river.

check hand 1 on turn

i dont think the T is much of a scare card tbh, ugh i dunno if its a spot to block bet or not. shoving doesnt seem to get the hands you beat to call while betting small may get a missed draw with a pair to call.

In hand 1 I ended up agree with your thinking, I did think a while but I did feel one of these two had a monster:

Quote:
*** TURN *** [5h]
Hero: Check, WumpWump: Check, McPinz: Bet $62.00, Hero: Fold, WumpWump: Raise $124.00, McPinz: Allin $100.00, WumpWump: Call $38.00
*** RIVER *** [9s]
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $437.00 Rake $3.00
McPinz shows [Ts 7s]
WumpWump shows [8c 7c]
WumpWump: wins $437.00
In hand 2, I went with betting out instead of checking:

Quote:
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($280.05)
BB ($197.25)
Hero ($200)
MP ($349.34)
CO ($316.23)
Button ($418.33)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q, Q.
Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, CO calls $8, 3 folds.

Flop: ($19) 9, 9, 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $17, CO calls $17.

Turn: ($53) 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $35, CO calls $35.

River: ($123) T (2 players)
Hero bets $60, CO raises to $120, Hero...
Bet size good on the river? And despite the odds I have here, is there anyway this is a bluff and I'm actually winning?

I'd rather check the river. He can't be holding some mid-PP you'll be getting any more value from. The only reasonable straight draw hit. As nitty as it sounds TBH, the more I look at it I prefer a c/f. I don't see someone that will just flat chase a draw being the type to bluff it on the river of a scary board you've shown strength on to bluff it that often.

Anyway, whatever the case, as played don't call his raise.

I like the way you played both hands.

Its hard to fold to his min-raise even though it looks like your beat. But I'd say theres about a 30% chance your winning here and you only need to be winning 1/5 of the time to make the call profitable. So its a call IMO.

He may of filled up on the turn or river with 8-8 or 10-10, they're about the only hands I can put him on the way hes played it, unless he's the type of player to call pre-flop raises with SC's. He may of even flopped the boat with sixes and slow played it to death.
