i always like plays like these, they just don't always work. Hopefully he'll fold AA or KK.

I just always think they will and then they don't... If you think he's good then this is probably a good play. It would be nice to have some previous history of a tight fold by him.

Alexos is on a distinguished road
Hmm, I'm not sure he will fold AA/KK, b/c your play looks a lot like TT+, and he is ahead a lot of times, plus the fact the FE you have at this point is not that great.

Then again if your image is GREAT, yes its better, but knowing you I'm sure you're not playing 16/12, and his PAHUD will say call:P I would like it much more if the FE was bigger too.

If you were "Floodz" instead (assume your stack) and call the 14$ raise then he squeezes, 2 fold, and you call b/c of better odds and no fear of being reraised, your range is tilted more toward a set on this board (99/77) and he will be more likely to fold.

Another factor to consider is he might be a light squeezer (many of those on Stars, not sure about Party games) he could have something like TT or JJ and might fold to a push. Then again if he squeezes light he might have a set too.

Jesus poker is hard. I hope I made some sense.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.

btw this is better against someone with a tighter raising range as he knows that u know that he has AA or KK.

i think it's like massimo said, hard to say without knowing villain well. but regardless it's great for metagame...makes you harder to play.

this also got me thinking about villains line, at least if he had TT+ and was going to shut down if called.
it seems like both a 3bet, or call and fold to a turn bet are similar unless you never 2 barell. tough spot.
