Opp seems like a bad lagg (read: donk), both pre- and postflop.

shitty, but for the price, you can't beat a call.

I raise more preflop due to my position, but probably only by $1 or $2.

I pot the flop. If hes got a flush draw he's calling anyway, and pretty much everything else barring 88, or a 6 (Which he probably doesnt have) should fold.

I agree that I would probably raise to $5 or $6. Yes, you want action but you don't enjoy playing out of position. That flop is a great flop for you and sometimes I would even overbet this flop not so much to protect my hand but to commit myself for the turn bet. I want him to have to put up a significant amount on the turnto chase and make missing +EV for me. Very bad card on the end but at worst he couldve called you down with 8x.

try to raise more preflop, i also bet closer to the pot on turn, river is fine
