I only have 16 hands on the villain, he's running 26/26 so i'm guessing he is TAGG. The reason i called the river is that I don't think a 4 plays it this way much (debateable) and the only hand i could see him calling the flop for value with was AJ. My problem is that he'd have to be floating the flop with complete air here or turn a high card hand into a bluff. And i had this strange feeling that i really should call.

Thoughts?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($474.10)
Button ($470.50)
SB ($305.30)
BB ($632.90)
UTG ($193.35)
MP ($390)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 5, 5.
2 folds, Hero raises to $12, Button calls $12, 2 folds.

Flop: ($30) 4, 4, 3 (2 players)
Hero bets $20, Button calls $20.

Turn: ($70) 6 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $42, Hero calls $42.

River: ($154) J (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $103, Hero calls $103.

Final Pot: $360

And, the bonus hand!

I only have about 100 hands on the villain, he runs about 26/14 and is not that aggressive. He seems really ABC.

I've been threebetting a decent amount, he probably thinks my range is pretty wide on the 3-bet at this point.

hand 1 is fine with reads since your hand looks exactly like what it is so he wants to make you fold. i kind of prefer CR this river though since it s very very hard for him to have a monster here and you'll get him off almost all of his thin value bets

hand 2 don t really think it matters what you do. I d prefer to keep getting the money in since KK will be hard pressed to fold and it ll suck when he insta-folds AK on the flop

if you just call then I think shoving flop or minraising to induce shove/price in KK-QQ) are pretty close

with my image though I d be shoving pre very quickly, even 200bb's deep
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

Hand 2: probably shove, I just hate post flop gayness because we are oop. in pos i consider calling.

Hand 1: OH NO he typed in the bet for the river so you lose. Although you are right there is very little in his range that plays it this way thats not bluffing but i cant put him on a hand that is bluffing besides a float. I think if he wins he has 66 or 57.

Hand #1, why are we ruling out all PP's? Do you always think they will raise the flop? Couldn't this be 88-TT? I think you are beat though.

Hand #2, IMO, The deeper we are the faster we should play AA to prevent the implied odds and getting outplayed/outflopped post flop.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Hand 1, i think its bad calling this river. I can't see him bluffing without a hand that beats you. He could call preflop with 33 A4 among other hands. I find a better spot rather then just guessing here. I don't think he makes a river bet unless he knows he has a better hand

Hand One: A lot of pocket pairs beat you here. Sure, he raises TT/JJ, and probably 99 too, but 66/77/88 beat you and he could have limped one of the hands I mentioned too. If you had a better read on this guy that said he bluffed on a frequent basis I'd say call this....but the way the hand played out it looks like a bigger PP than what you've got. You may have been right this time, but I think the majority of the time you're probably beat here.

Hand Two: Ram and jam. Like Danny said I think you should push because we're OOP. If you call and check the flop he could always check behind, and that would suck. You could call and bet out on the flop, but again what if AK or whatever he has misses or catches up to you? Then you're screwed. If we're in position I'd call most of the time depending on the opponent, too.

hand 1 - i'd rather bet turn or maybe c/r if he might be floating. it'd kinda tilt me to c/c the river and see AJ/TT or something so i'd rather fold. can't blame you if you have a read, but i think he has u beat most times on the turn, though the river bet is weird.

hand 2, i'd make a 2-2.5x 5bet. i think he has QQ/KK (doesn't sound like the type to make a play) maybe even AK and will is more likely to go allin pre flop.
