#1 Not much to say about UTG+1, CO and I are unremarkable TAGs who have been 3bet a bunch by SB and haven´t done much about it. SB obv is light here, but given UTG+1s stack I figured he has at least enough of a hand to call it off vs shortie. Assuming shortie wasn´t there, can I call profitably?

Stacks:
UTG ($56.70)
UTG+1 ($20)
CO ($100)
Hero ($100)
SB ($104.20)
BB ($109.10)
Pre-Flop: ($1.50, 6 players) Hero is BTN
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $2.50, CO calls $2.50, Hero calls $2.50, SB raises to $13, 1 fold, UTG+1 folds, CO folds, Hero folds
#2 BTN, BB and me are all pretty straightforward taggish players. There has been some 3betting mostly by BB. I rarely 3bet TT pre which may already be the mistake I made. Flatting the 3b oop sucks and I dont feel particularly bad about 4ball/getting it in vs BB, but how does the BTN alter my action?

2 folds, BTN raises to $3, Hero calls $2.50, BB raises to $14, BTN calls $11, Hero 4bets or folds?

hand one is fine, hand 2 I 4 bet jam once it comes back round to me, flatting the original pfr on the button is fine, specially if the bb likes to squeeze.

Hand 1 you say "assuming shorty wasn't there"... Are you saying that CO opens then? Or that UTG+1 opens but has a full stack? I like 3betting in either case.
Hand 2 ATOTHEC101 read it wrong I think saying it's fine to flat on the BU but I think playing in the SB changes things a tad as in we'd be more inclined to 3bet TT yet I call here a ton. I think as played you just have to get it in. From my experience, BU won't trap often enough at 100NL but that is totally generalizing.

Hand #1, Given UTG+1 open folds: I don't think you can call profitably vs this villain unless he is an absolute 3betting monkey. His range isn't going to include many hands that you will be making multiple bets if you are ahead.
That said, I do like the smooth, smooth line with AJ since you can pretty easily rep a mid pair or value bet/showdown your Ace. It gives you 2 ways to play the hand. More info on SB would always help though.
So how much 3betting is SB doing and how aggro is he post?
In hand #2, I prefer 3betting TT pre if BU has a A2S>25% as it broadens my 3betting range and helps me play less passive OOP. Once the BU flats the 3bet, I think you can tag along rather than 4bet and still play it profitably. That said, I don't think the BU will PFR then flat a 3bet even IP with anything that dominates TT. Given BU's second flat they may even be sharing broadway outs.
