UTG is 26/9.6 (300 hands) No real confrontations.

I usually 3 bet this but decided to call just cause he was utg. I think it plays so much easier if I 3 bet this. I donk bet cause he's pretty passive postflop and I will take it down here a bunch. Then he min raises me meh I'm gonna call and see a turn.

Check raise then lead; he has to put you on a strong hand and the turn looks like a value bet size. What do we think this guy's UTG opening range is i'd say AK and pockets 7+ are a big part and those go well on this board.

I suppose calling and seeing if he fires again on river may be an option. The pot will be 47 then and he will bet his monster for about $30 to which we fold (yuck) or we check check (yuck), all very messy.

I think I call this.

His flop line is weird. Its like he's trying to rep AK, but then I feel like that turn really screws up what he's trying to rep. I don't know if he'd take that c/r line with AA/QQ etc so we could be good here.

If he lead the flop and then lead the turn I'd be more inclined to fold, but his line is weird to me now... AQ/AJ or something like that maybe.

I call turn and re-evaluate river.

bleh that sucks. i think if you had supreme discipline you could fold this.

this seems like a crack ass line someone would take with a worse pp as well. i think i call this and fold to a decent size river bet. i would be really interested to hear what someone like ISF or sauce says though.

Anybody else?

I ended up folding, but I'm really not confident that that was the right play. What I couldn't get over was how tight is raising range was. All I really beat was AJ, AQ and 77-99 but a 9% raiser doesn't necessarily have those hands in his utg range. Plus the min c/r kinda scared me. He is a limp/folder with speculative hands so I'm not confident that he would even open 77-99 utg or even AJ.

This read is more from experience or what not, but I really feel like most of the time there is a PFR and it goes HU to the flop with the PFR OOP. If they c/r the flop I find that its often some kind of bluff/semibluff.

It feels like a strong-arm move, to get you to fold. Thats just my feel on that kind of play.... I could be wrong.

In any case, because of that, thats why I call the flop. They are trying to rep trip K's.. and now on the turn whatever they are repping got screwed up.. so I'd call again.

I'm a station though.. and the games at this limit may play differently.
