not many stats on this guy, he seemed relatively tight.
I figured that on the river, i hope he has a JT or hit a straight. Do you think a small value bet is better here?

I love it against opps prone to put u on a bluff, and used to do it a ton at 5 and 10nl and still sometimes do at 100nl, but against a tag I'd just have bet like 2/3 pot.

raise preflop.
i wouldn't shove, i don't think anything calls ever. 10 might be a better overbet and it might get called every once in a while.

its not the best play, he has shown no strength and hardly ever calls with a worse hand. just valuebet and hope he raises.

I'm not sure how this could be the best play. He almost never calls, and a lot of the time when he calls the push, he would have raised a smaller bet anyways.

Have you ever in your life made a ridiculous overbet like this and been bluffing? I think you're broadcasting your hand to the table so obviously that even a fish would able to lay down something like JT or 55 here. Just make a value bet and hope he raises you.

Even if it's never a bluff, I find that ultra loose-passives, after they expressed interest in the pot, will call this with a pretty wide range more frequently than you'd expect.
I only remember doing it once in 100nl, so maybe it was just luck, but it worked...I bet $122 into a $7 pot with the nut str8 and was called by AA unimproved. In 5nl I was called many times even by middle pair. Some guys think it has to be a bluff I guess. But they aren't tight.
