My opponent is fairly tight and aggressive. I'm pretty sure he's multi-tabling because it's taking him several seconds to make trivial decisions.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (2 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB (t1480)
Fnord (t1520)

Preflop: Fnord is Button with K, Q.
Fnord raises to t60, BB calls t40.

Flop: (t120) T, T, 5 (2 players)
BB checks, Fnord bets t90, BB calls t90.

Turn: (t300) 6 (2 players)
BB bets t120, Fnord raises to t350, BB calls t230.

River: (t1000) 7 (2 players)
BB bets t540

I really don't get his line here. Can anyone figure it?

Strange. Can't figure it out either. I think you have to call though because you run into trip Ts or a lower flush often enough to make paying off a higher flush or full house worthwhile.

Lower flushes, straights and Tx calls a shove, so we should shove, right?

True, but if you flat call and run into a FH or better flush, you still have 500 chips which is short but not anywhere near desperate at 10/20 blinds, if you shove and are wrong you're goneski.

If I'm called by a worse hand 55%+ of the time I think it's an easy shove.

There has to be way more hands that we beat that call our shove, than beat us. I wouldn't mind going broke here, a flush is such a monster heads up.

What is the buy-in?

My guess from that action is another flush hit. His flop call is mathematically wrong if so, but lots of people will chase this. The only thing that doesnt make sense is his flat call of your turn re-raise. I guess maybe a T for trips, but my money would be on flush.

I would find it hard not to shove, but a lot of times in normal SnGs I would flat call this (i.e., if we were still 8 handed or something). HU this has to be a superb hand doesnt it?
Just playing to improve.

Um, I missed how big the pot got on the turn, shove plz.

There's an argument for just calling, but fuck it we have a huge hand in a HUSNG where ppl overplay everything.

All-in. This line is very uncharacteristic of a boat, since it looks like he is trying to get some marginal value or price a showdown. He will usually opt for a slightly more "deceptive" line when he has a full house. If you raise all-in, he will often call with trips or lower flushes given the money in the pot.

Like what? What would be your line with a boat?

Don't get me wrong, although I would probably wuss out and just call here, I don't think there's anything wrong with shoving over on the river and going broke against a higher flush or FH.

The thing is there are so many worse hands that will call the push here at this level especially with 2/3 of their stack in.

I would shove this hand as well.

One nitpick - I wouldn't advise using the fact that it's HU to base your actions in big pots. Yes there are less hands to worry about than a full table but still the hand values change a lot more based on the opponent and the game than they do based on how many people were dealt in.

Ac7x anyone?

Looks like it might be an OOP float attempt that caught something on the turn. (From the fact that he called the raise, not that he bet it)

Yea something weird like that. My guess is he got stubborn and made up his mind to steal the pot no matter what.

Good TAG is capable of making a big move at huge pot (one that matters). FWIW since this is HU and not FR multiway pot I shove this all day.
