I was playing a loose-passive player HU at a live HU tourney (a bracket). Things didn't go as great as I expected.
To beat a calling station, you have to value bet. But in HU, you barely make hands. Am I supposed to be value betting King high and hope my opponent doesn't make a pair by the inevitible showdown?
BTW blinds started 2/4 with 100 chips and increased every ten minutes. 3/6,4/8/,5/10...

Be pantient. Not great advice but there is little else to do. Just hope when you hit he has bottom pair.

Sounds like you get to p/f stage really quickly with that setup.
Get value without over committing. So on your weaker hands, look for 1 maybe 2 streets of value instead of 3 barrelling with A high.

Just playing to improve.
