Tourney finished with some smack talk about how I was the suckout king. I dont think I sucked out on a single hand there, if anything his AT push was a suckout given I was on the right side of a coinflip there.

Anyway, shittalk doesnt get to me, but does anyone find any hands where he has a point?

LolTrappedU: shows [3s 5c Ks 6c] (HI: a straight, Ace to Five; LO: 5,4,3,2,A)

So a straight wins the HI part, but how does it win the LO part? Is it just the 5 smallest cards regardless of what hand they make or something?
Just playing to improve.

LOL, I just sent you a long PM about it.

I have a 5 hi low and a 5 hi straight which are both the pure nuts on this board.

Lo is the 5 lowest cards but they must be unpaired and all 8 or lower.

Therefore

98543 is not a low
87432 is a low but it loses to
8743A which loses to
75432 which loses to hands like
65432 which loses to
6543A which loses to
5432A which is the nut low.

Getting counterfeited is the biggest thing ppl get screwed up on and it happened to an FTR reg last night (**cough**Hartlin**cough**). It happens when you're holding something like A2JJ on a board like this:

873J2. Notice how you had the nut low on the flop but not on the river. You have to use the 8 on the board while a hand like A4 only has to use the 7. Your low is 8732A and the A4 is 7432A beating you b/c you have to use two cards from your hand and 3 on the board.

Srry to hijack your thread and congrats on the 1 hand win.

The threads pretty lc unless someone reviews the first tourney, and most of them dont get done.

This might generate debate though, the "Quadruple your money in 1 hand" match .

I'd watched villian play a fair bit during his first match, and he was hyperaggressive, I was honestly surprised to see he had such a big hand.

What's funny is the table you were on closed and by the time I got your new table up and running the flop had been dealt. At first I thought you guys got it in on that flop until I read the HH on PS.

IMO on the first tourney you played fine (you won lol) but villain is probably just upset about losing. Dont let it bother you or think you played poorly. I only looked over it once (and not very thoroughly) but it looked like you did a pretty good job.
