Hey. my question is how do you all feel about Hu tournaments that have more than 4 players. Like the ones on pokerstars at 2 15 and 9 15 everyday 256 max and they pay through 32nd place and a 22 dollar buy in. Are these beatable? I feel these are as its usually fairly easy to win the first two matches. However obviously it ll take some running good to win 8 in a row and take home the title.
Also, what about the 64 person 5 dollar buyin winner take all... 320 for 1st and thats it obv. But maybe its just cuz i came in 2nd today and im a little bitter... but are these worth it to play... like idc about varience and length between wins but can a good hu player be profitable at these in the long run? (and btw they do not permit chops in the winner take alls) Any advice would be appreciated ty guys.

I'm guessing they're very high variance, but you can still beat them

I think the 4-player ones are good value. Beyond that they seem prone to extremely high variance.

Personally I'd hate to play that because even though they might be profitable, I mean how many hundred times in a row can I stand to lose without winning?

Hi,
It's pretty much agreed that hu sng's are not as profitable as hu cash. BUT if you want to play HU sng's, this seems like a fun format.
