How do you play your mid pockets. I once heard you should play them like a high PP. Standard or Spew?

Seat 5: HERO ($44.60 in chips)
Seat 6: Swift40 sits out
HERO: posts small blind $0.25
Joncarrot: posts big blind $0.50
----- HOLE CARDS -----

Shrek13: folds
JCM5705: raises to $1.50
HERO: raises to $4.50
Joncarrot: folds
JCM5705: calls $3
----- FLOP ----- T K J

I wouldn't bet this flop unless you're confident he'll fold a T/J/Q with a 2nd barrel.

I dont like the 3bet preflop. At SH tables Im raising any PP from any position and cbetting most flops; however I really dont like a 3bet here especially OOP. Out of the blinds Im calling here for set value, your bet on the flop really wont fold out any hands that you werent already ahead of.

This isn't a routine middle pair hand. Blind defense dominates the texture of this hand.
