These were played on party 25nl with the stoopid reverse blinds for HU. I played it on my roomates account, because he was running bad and he wanted me to pull him out and bring him back to even on the day. So, partially with the help of this table (which was 10 max, but eventually broke down to HU), I was able to pull him from being down one buyin to being up two. Hope y'all enjoy this. Feel free to make comments.
Notice how at the end he goes on suicide tilt and pushes every hand.

nice on well played. Just out of interest why the fold here. Is an open ended straight not worth a look?

I've been trying to work on my heads up game..
Am I right in saying that you took this down through applying as much pressure as you could, giving him the constant threat of being raised?
He seems to enjoy laying down a lot on the turn as well, I see that you picked this up and put out a few turn bluffs. wp.

I figured it was a pretty easy fold considering I was getting 3:2 on my call (pretty horrible pot odds), and his stack was too short to give me very good implied odds. Also, 1 card straights don't tend to get paid off too well. I just would rather fold and continue to lean on his now short stack in more solid situations.

Ya he really let me push him around. I basically raised pretty much every button, then I bluffed him out of a big pot (hand #32), of course showing him the bluff, and then he just went on fucking monkey tilt and threw the match to me.

I had a HU game last night against someone who raised every time he had a good hand, called every time he had a medium hand, and folded the flop every time he didn't hit. And yet HE was the fucker who won because it was nigh on impossible to get anything out of him and when I made my two pair, he hit trips. I made a few £ back and then quit because I could se myself tilting like Renton's villain does at the end above.

I'm not sure if you pwned this player...I mean you won but it was very straight up. You did show the one bluff which as I read I thought "I hope he shows". Other than that there wasn't much action. A short stack should push Ax heads up - he just ran into a higher Ace. Congrats regardless.
The one thing I did like was you were next to impossible to get any extra $$ out of. The str8 draw is a good example. Most people would call down to the river with that hand HU and like you mention, you may not get paid off when you get there.
Out of curiosity, how much rake did this session cost? Rake in HU cash games at low levels is a BB/hr killer. Then again the number of poor players you profit from can make up for it.
If you like HU then try some HU SNGs. The rising blinds make it interesting and the rake is relatively lower.

we payed about 1.20 in rake. Not too terribly bad considering my edge over this player. I really just played this for fun though.
I didn't think I really owned him, but just the psychological victory was pretty substantial. I got him so pissed that he pushed like 6 consecutive hands. And I really hate his push on the last hand, even though he does have an ace. He has to know that I am only calling him with hands that have him dominated.

Why did you fold hand 19 on the river? Were you worried that he had a higher straight?

Yes, or any spade. And I folded it on the turn.

I think you misread that. He folded on the turn when the fish called a 3-spaded flop and a fourth spade hit the turn. He's guaranteed to be behind now.
