first time this has happened. i'm browsing through cake poker, and find a 6-max $100NL table with a free seat.

here are the stack sizes.
61bb, 55bb, 46bb, 47bb, 60bb

how much should we buy in for, and why?

effective stacks are around 60bb, so we don't really gain any EV by sitting with more money than them. i wonder if a short stack strategy would be more profitable against these guys. or maybe i'm just thinking this is more interesting than it really is.

buying in for max just saves time from reloading if you lose a pot or two vs fish. still gotta play effective stack sizes though.

maybe there's some benefits like blending in...but i'd still buy the max.
