It used to be that so many people were 8-12 tabling and recently it seems that the trend is playing less tables (4-6) and focusing on reads more. Just curious how many people are still 23452xd2349 tabling and how many have slowed down.

I play 10 6max tables on storms at the minute.

Usually 8-10 tables of 6 max. If i get bored and play a bit of FR, then 12+

As many as I can.. 10-12 if I'm tired, but I can manage iPoker's limit of 16 if I've had enough sleep.

8-12, as few as 6 if tables are bad (FR). 6-8 at 6-max
20-25 SNGs

6-10 of 6-max depending on how soft the games are. Usually end up having around 6 games going while waitlisting.

I'll go on record saying that I think playing more than 4-6 is probably not worth it long term, though.

I play 3x tables of 5-max and even then I don't have great reads until 1 hour of play has past. I tried 6x tables of 6-max once but it was just robotic play and soooo boring.

I never was able to get in that 5th table. Then again, I play mostly short-handed action games with a fairly active style.

4 or 6 usually. 2 when I really want to work on my game. 9 when I am feeling good (rarely ever).

Can i just ask how some of you guys manage 6+ tables in 6-max?
I mean i get enough beeping at 4 as it is, AND i'm a tight player.

Some of you guys play 25% VPIP and 8 table... take a lot of concentration? lol

once you get the hang of 4, move to 6. rinse, repeat. I used to think that more than 4 was impossible for me, but now i play 10 running 21/17 and i rarely time out.

I play 6 6-max tables. I could probably handle 8ish if I had better damn monitors!

I don't think I could do this without HUD though

I play somewhere between 4 and 8, usually end up with 6.
(I have a 2 CRT monitor setup with both 1600x1200 res)

For running more than 4 tables I found some tools very helpful, like the Tablehighlighter script, BetPot script and Autoreloader script (mine was Prima only, thanks HalvSame).

I play 2-5 tables of 6max. 5 is the most I can comfortably handle when I'm feeling 100% up for it; 4 is the norm; 2 and 3 are if I'm not feeling 100%, or am tired, or am also doing other things that require some concentration. Occasionally I'll mix ring and tourneys, but never more than 4 tables.
