I was wondering on how you guys deal with a hand like A2s on a K82r board, both IP and OOP. Say when we're IP we raised preflop and when OOP we either 1) called our opponent's raise (incorrectly??) or 2) button limped and we either raised or checked.
Sounds like a lot of variables but I tried to cover most the bases. In case I missed anything: how does the answer differ if our opponent is 1) nit, 2) aggro donk or 3) stationy donk?
Against the bad players I've been check folding most hands because I can find better spots and against the good players probably take standard pot control lines.

ip I'll check behind like 70-80% because it's hard to get a better hand to fold without firing multiple barrels and your hand has showdown value plus a few outs. oop I like a c/r on this board since so many opps are cbetting it 100% and so much of their range can't stand a c/r. And I like the call pre-flop oop.
caveat: I've just started playing hu recently.

hmmm, i'm not sure where to start. I'm kinda tired but i'll just say this:
Our ideas of flop play go way back to where FR and 6-max games where weak-loose fish would call a raise, and fold easily when they missed. Even when they did hit a hand, most of the time it would be played passively so because of this betting the flop basically everytime was correct. Especially since it builds a pot for your strong hands.
In HU, this is barely the case at all. Most players are overly aggressive and stacking off way too light. With most players cont betting 60% of flops or more in HU, the players who have excel are the ones who can predict when their opponents are playing back at them very well... and consequently not needing to actually balance their cont betting range much at all. For most of us mortals, we should probably reconsider our flop betting ranges and our overall strategy.

Specifically, you have a blocker with A2 and any bet is turning our hand into a bluff so unless the guy just folds to cbets a ton or isnt raising your flop cbets at all then i'd check behind IP. OOP for the same reasons this is a decent peel one type hand.
