Villain is relatively unknown. Stats are loose passivish. Best line to get most value from worse pairs/FD? Or should I just shut down.

check behind turn and value bet pretty much any river except an A or K. sometimes a K.

if u bet the turn you will maximize the amount you lose the times you are beat and minimize the amount you win the times you are best. checking behind the turn flip flops those two problems.

Completely out of curiosity
I've actually found myself in this spot and villain block bets river. If villain suddenly decides to get frisky and block bet, are you calling bets on the river here?
If so:
1. Are there any river cards you will NOT call on?
2. How much would you call?
A) On an Ace river
B)King
C) Spade
D)Blank

if hes block betting it usually means youre ahead. i dunno, it could be a call or a fold in any of those situations, it really is something that depends a lot more on timing and sizing ... in some situations u might even want to minraise to extract more value, too hard to say, its a feel type thing imo.
