i guess a 1 would be open folding so in fairness i'll give u a 3

clearly this flop is a bet 3-bet way before its a c/r/c.

The only good thing about check/raising is that it looks like you're giving up on that flop so you get a bet out of air. I think stacks are too deep to worry about that, it's much more important to worry about how good you're getting your money in when $400 goes in, and clearly b3b gets him to put it in with more weaker draws than c/r/c in which case he might just check behind with those weak draws (that he would have raised had you bet).

uhh seems fine. just dont fold. why is there any argument about this? I think that c/r/c is really really close to the same as b3b in this hand

i think if we check its to call a bet not to raise. I think we get it in here in pretty gay shape a fair amount when we c/r.

I think b3b could be marginally better because when the opponent bluffs and then folds, he is putting in a raise instead of just the opening bet. Vs any other hand type I think its pretty even, and making a healthy check-raise here makes the hand really easy to play whereas a lot of turns are very awkward to play when u lead and get smooooooth called.

uhhh ... lead flop, he flats ... ok go for checkraise ... if he checks behind take your free card to hit your hand, otherwise he probly folds pretty often.

taking this line is gonna make u more money in the long run cuz it creates more FE ... u r only gonna win 50% of the time, so u just really need to make him fold 1% of the time for it to be profitable .. u r never doing that if u checkraise and he jams .. u have to call. u get value from more marginal hands as well as floats by taking this line, there is definitely a big difference.
