Villain is loose/passive pretty fishy but he's not out of control and I havn't seen him play a big pot yet. I'm not out of line.
2 questions:
What does he have? (if you want to just say the obvious answer, that's fine, or you could try to put him on a range)
What do you call the river c/r with?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
UTG ($211)
MP ($1200)
CO ($1310.95)
Hero ($995)
SB ($407)
BB ($1565)
Preflop: Hero is Button with x y.
UTG calls $10, 1 fold, CO calls $10, Hero calls $10, SB completes, BB checks.
Flop: ($50) 9 , T , 3 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO checks, Hero bets $40, SB folds, BB folds, UTG folds, CO calls $40.
Turn: ($130) 7 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $120, CO calls $120.
River: ($370) K (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $310, CO raises to $1140.95, Hero has $515 left...

he has a terribly wide range of really good hands. You'd need a very good hand to call this.

QdJd has to be the obvious answer right?
Edit: that is the obvious answer and what I would put him on.
You should have 9T here as you cannot have a set and you obv dont have a straight. Your near pot bet on the turn makes me believe you have a hand worth growing a large pot with. Otherwise, I think you check through here with anything less.
When you nearly pot the river again you have to be very strong or firing a 3rd barrell bluff. My question is what hand calls your river bet here?
In a very weird world you have J8s. But from what I've seen of you I think you're tighter than that. Im sticking with 9Ts for you and that he has a set or QJ.

Well a fishy player could do this with KT thinking it's the nuts....but unlikely.
No way a loose/passive is check pushing the river without at least a set.
It does seem so obvious he has QJ...but I dont think u would post this hand if he did have QJ....so i dunno.

up to the river it looks like u have T9, but i highly doubt you wouldn't check the river back with that.
You must have 33, and this river is a fold. Because it seems like he has to have QJ or TT

I really don't think there are many players at all that are overvaluing KT so much here to c/r allin, and particularly not a loose/passive/weakish type player.

Hypothetically, would you fold J8 here?

fwiw, I had and wasn't particularly happy with the river. I figured he'd c/c with a certain range of hands and would either lead or c/push river with QJ).
I ran my timer down to 1 second and called. I really can't see any other hand playing like this besies QJ which is what he had.
Now I'm not the one to sweat losing a stack or be results oriented, but I'm not really sure what I think of this one. One side of me says that I should be calling with anything I'm value betting with here (minus 9T) and the analytical side of me says that he pretty much always has QJ here given dynamics, limped pot, etc, and thats what I need to call with. Meh, whatever. I've never been one to make big folds so I could probably start in more obvious spots then a 2 card second-nut straight on the river for 100bb's.
