Villain is laggy 34/21 2.3 AF and 3bets 8 and only calls cbets about a quarter of the time.

Would he not raise anything descent on either flop or turn? I realize my turn sizing should have been higher if i planned to ship river regardless. His hand looks like 66 77 99 TT maybe 56 87

Yeah I think this is ok, but my first thought when I saw the hand is you have to hope he doesn't have kq/aq with a heart.
"This sure beats Super Mario Bros.!" is my ejaculation catch phrase.

meh, this is such a ridiculously small part of his range though. I mean, how many ppl are really calling down here with a hand like that, thats not even the nut FD?

FEel like he's way more likely to have like 66h-TTh, or something. The fact that hero opened UTG means that villain won't have that many unsuited hands too.

[from the BC] browsing SHNL just wondering what range you take this line with for value?

ummmm you're repping a huge value range (as you pretty much always are when you open UTG and then bet all 3 streets, because there isn't ANY reason to believe you're weak).

We could have any of the 5 possible sets on the board, KK+, AhQx, AThh+, KQhh, random SCs a mentionable amount of the time (especially JThh, but sometimes two pairs, straights, lesser flushes).

also, villain prolly isn't going to be the best hand reader ever just based on stakes and stats, so a PFR/bet/bet/shove line on a monotone flop is going to look like "ZOMG HE HAS THE NUTZZZZZZ!"

I mean like what hands would you ACTUALLY play this way, not which hands do you rep by playing this way

Joe, it's essentially the same range as surviva listed. Any sets, straights, weak flushes or overpairs without a big heart are either going to end up behind on a fourth heart or be ahead and lose action, so we will barrel all of those to charge draws and get value.

Big flopped flushes like AhKh or a hand like AhAx are obviously not as vulnerable to a fourth heart, but this still isnt a reason to slowplay as we still need to barrel for value from weaker hands and chasing draws.

I think deciding what to do with TT or JJ on the river is an interesting spot.

Id like it against someone pretty tight since he literally never has the nuts. Against someone with fishy stats though I dont really like it. We need him to fold more than 75% of the time and we have no idea how he reacts to overbets.
